Admissions

The Learning Wheel Preschool is ready and available to respond to all admission inquiries and guide your family. We invite you to schedule in person or a virtual tour with us. Our Admissions team is here to support you in this process and thanks you for considering us for your child care needs.

The admissions process is an opportunity for us to get to know your family and the child. This will give you the opportunity to discover all that we have to offer. Our goal during this process is to ensure that we provide you with everything you need to know to help you decide whether our program and philosophy align with your future goals.

How to Apply

Applications for our preschool are accepted throughout the year. Please contact our program directors to confirm availability at 925-353-5224.

To enroll, please fill out an enrollment form and admissions agreement and submit them with the non­-refundable registration fee and first month’s tuition. In July, current families must completed online forms to re-­enroll for each school year. New families may enroll for the new school (that begins on September1st).

Vacancies will be filled from a list of those enrolled. Siblings will be given priority. Proof of immunizations, as well as all admissions forms must be submitted before your child can attend The Learning Wheel Preschool. Families wishing to withdraw must give a 30-day advance written notice to the school. There will be no refunds and no transfers of tuition and fees.

Probation Period

There is a thirty (30) day probation period following a child’s start date. During this time, if it is determined that our program is not suitable for the child (due to child readiness, development, toilet-training problems, etc.), termination of enrollment may result. Based on the child’s growth and development, we may recommend enrollment at a later date. There is no refund of the enrollment deposit.

Additional Admissions Paperwork

Once your enrollment forms have been received, you will receive a packet of admissions forms required for attendance in the school. Forms include pre-­admission health history, emergency information, a Physician’s Report, and are due before your child’s first day of attendance.

An immunization record must be submitted upon enrollment (prior to attendance) verifying that vaccinations are up-to-date in accordance with California state law.

HALF DAY.                   8:30 AM - 12 PM.  

BEFORE SCHOOL.     7:00 AM - 8:30 AM

AFTER SCHOOL.        5:00 PM - 6:00 PM 

ANNUAL MATERIALS FEE: $250

REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: $250 

WE OFFER 10% DISCOUNT FOR THE SIBLING.

Emergency Situations:

In the event of an emergency, your child will be cared for in the classroom. Please call or text us to inform of any emergency.

Lunch:

Parents are responsible to send lunches with their child unless they have signed up for lunch program, school will only provide am and pm snacks.
